Stephanie's Family Day Care - Frenchs Forest
My Name is Stephanie and I am running a Family Day Care in Frenchs Forest.
I am French and lived in Spain, England and Germany where I met my husband.
I have been in Australia for 15 years and I have not looked back since then. We have 3 Children, Luke 13, Rémy 10 and Amélie 8.
We are a bilingual family and my children are fluent in French and English.
After working several years in the corporate environment, I decided to change career and work as an educator for young children. I wanted to bring more to the community and after having 3 kids, I felt that I had the required experience to care for children. I have worked at KU preschool in Killarney for 4years as well as a nanny before deciding to run my own family day care..
I am looking forward to welcoming your family. Your children will be looked after in safe, secure, loving, caring fun and learning environment.
I believe in learning through play and that young children benefit from being in a small nurturing environment.
My aim for your children is to teach them to be social, independent and confident. For that I like to observe them and guide them through their play.
A lot of my play experience are connected to nature and the environment. I like them to get involved outside and explore in the garden.
I also love to take the opportunity to teach your children some French through songs, games and stories. I believe teaching another language is very beneficial. It will open your children 's curiosity toward other culture and be more acceptable toward differences.
I want them to be part of their day care, for them to feel that they belong here. I want them to know that this is their place too, where they can play, learn, create and make friends.
I have completed my Certificate III in Early Childhood and hold all the necessary qualifications to run my family day care (WWCC, First aid, CPR, and Asthma and anaphylaxis certificate).
I provide homemade nourishing meal.
